01Fry the onions till golden brown. Add 2 pieces of bay leaves and black cardamom. Add some water after the onions turn golden brown.
02In a food processor, grind the tomatoes, garlic, green chilies and cinnamon sticks till they form a paste.
03Add the paste to the onion frying pot. Add salt, red chili powder, black pepper and turmeric powder. Cook for a few minutes and add 2 tbsp vinegar.
04You can now add the chicken to the cooking pot. Cook for a few minutes and add 1/2 tbsp whole black pepper and 1 tbsp cumin seeds. Cook for another 10 minutes.
05Time to add the main ingredient, add 1/2 cup of tomato ketchup and mix well.
06Add some sliced onions before turning off the heat. Serve with naan and raita. Enjoy!
