Namkeen Gosht is a deliciously rustic meat dish. Traditionally, lamb or goat are cooked in ginger, salt, black pepper, green chilies, and preferably animal fat.
Namkeen Gosht Recipe
Ingredients for Namkeen Gosht:
- 1 kg lamb meat or beef
- 3 piece black cardamom
- 3-4 pieces of cinnamon sticks
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1+1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 3-4 tbsp of vinegar
- Desi ghee
- 1+1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp black pepper
Method for Preparation for Namkeen Gosht:
01Put the meat inside a pot with water and add black cardamom, cinnamon sticks, salt, ginger-garlic paste and let it cook till the meat tenderizes. Make sure to cover the pot with a lid.
02Add 3-4 tbsp of vinegar and desi ghee, cumin seeds and black pepper. Mix well. Cook the meat till its done.
Your namkeen gosht is ready. Serve with bread and enjoy!
