Ravioli are a type of pasta comprising a filling enveloped in thin pasta dough. Usually served in broth or with a sauce. Popular in the Italian Cuisine.
Ingredients for Ravioli with Herbs:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, halved
- 800g ravioli
- 60g (21/4 oz) butter, chopped
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 4 tbsp chopped basil
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
Method of Preparation for Ravioli with Herbs:
01Combine oil and garlic in a small bowl, set aside.
02Add ravioli to a large pan of rapidly boiling water and, cook until tender.
03Drain well and return to pan. Add oil to pasta; discard garlic,
04Add butter and herbs to ravioli, toss well.
Substitutions:
- Use fresh coriander instead of parsley.
