Description
Raita is an Indian/Pakistani side dish of yogurt containing chopped cucumber or other vegetables, and spices. Usually enjoyed with curry dishes.
Ingredients for Raita Recipe:
- 250ml yogurt
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method for Preparation of Raita Recipe:
01Roast the cumin on a dry skillet until it gives a pleasant aroma.
02Mix salt and cumin in the yogurt.
Cook's Tip:
You can add the following things for variation:
- 1 grated/diced cucumber, tomato and onions
- 1/2 grated beet
- 1/2 boiled, mashed eggplant
- 1 large potato boiled+diced
