This is a restaurant-style Pakistani Chicken Karahi recipe that can be prepared quickly and easily with no finicky steps.
White Chicken Karahi Recipe
Ingredients for White Chicken Karahi:
- 1/2 kg oil
- 1+1/2 kg chicken
- 5 tbsp yogurt
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 piece cinnamon sticks
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp white pepper
- 300g of cream
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- Ginger
- Green chili
Method for Preparation of White Chicken Karahi:
01Fry the chicken in a pot. The color of the chicken will gradually start to change.
02Once the chicken is fried, remove the oil from the pot. Add the ginger-garlic paste and the cinnamon sticks and continue frying the chicken for 4-5 minutes.
03Now add 1 tbsp salt and white pepper. Add the cumin seeds into the yogurt in a separate bowl and mix well.
04Add the yogurt mix to the pot, cover the pot with a lid and cook the chicken on a medium flame for at least 5 minutes.
05Once its cooked for 5 minutes, add 300 grams of cream, black pepper, sliced ginger, and sliced green chillies. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Your delicious white karahi is ready. Serve with naan and raita. Enjoy!
