Coffee cake is a perfect evening snack, usually served with tea and biscuits to enjoy the cozy winter evenings.
Ingredients for Coffee Cake:
- 2 cups of flour
- 3/4 cup sugar (ground)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
For the Streusel topping of the Coffee Cake:
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cold butter
Here's how to make the Coffee Cake:
01Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
02In a bowl, cream together oil and sugar and add vanilla.
03Make sure that the egg and milk together make a cup's measurement. Add that to the batter.
04Spoon the dry ingredients into the batter and fold it in.
05In a separate bowl, mix all four ingredients to make the streusel topping.
06Pour the cake batter along with the streusel on top of a bundt cake tin.
07Bake at 175°C for 25-30 mins.
